Our next meeting is March 13 at Tracy Gee Community Center at 10:00 AM. Our guest speaker for March is Dr. Stephen Steinlight, Senior Policy Analyst for Center for Immigration Studies.Several churches have jumped on the bandwagon for open borders and the upcoming "comprehensive" immigration legislation that the current administration will soon attempt to force upon our nation.People of faith greatly need further guidance from a religious perspective for their discussions on securing our borders and enforcing the law.
Dr. Steinlight began his affiliation with the Center for Immigration Studies in 2001.He has a lot of experience in community affairs, having been an official at the National Conference of Christians and Jews, the American Anti-Slavery Group and the American Jewish Committee.He is a graduate of Columbia College , Columbia University and was a Marshall Scholar at the University of Sussex , England where he received his doctorate.
